St Tropez

Prior to the 1950's, St Tropez was a quiet fishing village that most people didn’t bother to visit. However, this all changed when Brigitte Bardot filmed ‘And God Created Woman’ here, instantly transforming it into a tourist attraction for millionaires and tourists alike, who come to see and enjoy the luxury yachts in the harbour, stylish boutiques and fine restaurants. Today, the area is the most famous resort in Europe and welcomes over 100,000 visitors a day. On warm summer days, the beaches with their crystal clear waters are a popular choice, while the cobblestone streets of St Tropez and its neighbouring towns provide a charming variation of scenery. There are also plenty of historical and religious sights to keep history-lovers happy.
