The jagged limestone coast of Sardinia embroidered with underwater caves and perfect little coves, one of the most scenic of which is Cala Luna. Located just south of Cala Gonone, this idyllic and untamed crescent of white sand backed by high limestone cliffs is a popular beach hideaway for Italian families.
There's a very simple beach bar and restaurant just back from the beach, and another in Cala Sisine, a remote bay that is a good alternative in high season.
