Founder Dave Christensen began his foray into the yacht building industry with a self-commissioned custom yacht for his own private use. So strong was public interest in the wake of the build that he opened his own shipyard on the Columbia River in the mid-1980s.
Nowadays, the American shipyard operates from a state-of-the-art production facility in Vancouver, Washington. With over 50,000-square metres of climate -controlled manufacturing space and a seven-acre marina, each Christensen superyacht to emerge from the yard is built in compliance with ABS and UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency classification standards.
