Gold Coast, Australia
17 - 18 May 2019
Bringing together superyachts, industry professionals and owners from across the region, the Australian Superyacht Rendezvous will return to the Gold Coast in Queensland in May 2019.
Getting ready for its third edition, the Australian Superyacht Rendezvous aims to celebrate and further enhance the potential of the superyacht industry in Australia by shining a spotlight on the country’s yachting facilities, exceptional tourism experiences and safe cruising grounds.
Roundtable and Micro Expo
Taking place over two days at the Gold Coast City Marina in Queensland, the event will begin with a roundtable discussion. Around 100 VIPs from various sectors of the industry and tourism and hospitality sectors will get-together to consider a variety of superyacht-related topics.
New for this year, the Micro Expo will form part of the Industry Roundtable. Its key aim is for suppliers, manufacturers, designers and destinations to give to present their products and services to captains, senior crew and other industry players.
Social and charter events
This will be followed by a fun and interactive event, which will provide an exclusive networking opportunity for rendezvous attendees while, on the final evening, there will be an invite-only ‘Superyacht Owners & VIP Event’ to round-up proceedings.
But, before this, on the morning of day two, there will be a superyacht charter showcase where guests are invited aboard the charter yachts on display. As the Australian charter fleet continually grows, the 2019 edition is expected to have a very impressive line-up.
The host venue, the Gold Coast City Marina, is the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere, with a capacity for more than 50 superyachts at any one time.
