Cannes, South of France
10 - 15 Sep 2019
The Bay of Cannes will be transformed into a glittering hive of yachting activity when the 42nd edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival gets underway on 10 September 2019.
Since its establishment in 1997, the Cannes Yachting Festival has earned itself the title of Europe’s leading in-water water boat show and attracts hundreds of yachts to the city of Cannes each year. With many of them making their global debuts, the yachts on display range from motor yachts and sailing yachts to multihulls, tenders and day boats.
Throngs of show-goers descend to the heart of the French Riviera for the event, where they are able to admire the vast selection of yachts up close. Perfect for prospective buyers and charterers, representatives from world-class shipyards and leading brokerage firms will be on hand to aid with tours and offer sea trials.
The event is split between Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto, and a complimentary seven-minute sea shuttle service runs every 15 minutes to transport show-goers from one port to the other.
Vieux Port will play host to the latest models and debut launches from shipyards around the world. Port Pierre Canto will act as a dedicated brokerage area for those looking to purchase a one-off superyacht. Top charter yachts will form part of the exhibit here too, so prospective charterers will also able to arrange viewings.
For the first time, Port Pierre Canto will also see a new section installed to showcase monohull and multihull sailing yachts. The zone will be able to accommodate over 100 sailing yachts and is part of an initiative to make the Cannes Yachting Festival the biggest event of its kind in the world.
