Opening the Mediterranean’s classic yacht regatta season, Les Voiles d’Antibes will return on 30th May 2018.
A selection of the most beautiful classic yachts will flock to Port Vauban in Antibes on the French Riviera for five days of racing, exhibitions, concerts, parades and other festivities.
In attendance will be yachts built in the pre-1954 era, classic yachts built before 1976 and those from the spirit of tradition class. All will have shaped the great history of international yachting since the end of the 19th century.
The racing itself will take place along the stunning 23 kilometres of coastline between the Bay of Antibes and Juan-les-Pins. Famous for the beauty of its scenery and the wealth of culture, the regatta provides a wonderful atmosphere for owners and their crews.
Running for more than two decades, the event forms part of the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge’s Mediterranean circuit. The three other regattas include Argentario Sailing Week in Italy, Copa del Rey de Barcos de Epoca in Spain and Regates Royales in Cannes, France.
