Port Vauban, Antibes
29 May - 2 Jun 2019
A fleet of legendary yachts will gather off the coast of Juan-les-Pins and Antibes from 29 May for the 2019 edition of Voiles d’Antibes, the first major event of Europe’s classic yachting season.
As well as marking the opening of the Mediterranean circuit for classic yachts, Les Voiles d’Antibes is also the first stage of the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge.
Running since 1996, the five-day event brings together a variety of sailing yachts, ranging from vintage yachts built before 1950 and classic yachts built before 1976 to the spirit of the tradition class.
Every year, between five and 15 yachts appear on the circuit, and as the first gathering of the year, the regatta sees owners, captains and crews catching up with old friends.
Racing takes place along the beautiful 23 kilometres of coastline between Antibes and Juan-les-Pins and is renowned for combining high-quality competition with friendly conviviality.
Accompanying the on-water action is a lively entertainment programme. Expect cocktail parties, concerts, parades, exhibitions and other social events.
