In the heart of the Cote d'Azur, a fleet of elegant sailing yachts will be participating in the annual regatta of Les Voiles d'Antibes.
Since its inception in 1996, Les Voiles d'Antibes has been a unique and highly-anticipated event in the Mediterranean regatta circuit.
The classic yachts which compete in the races make quite a sight, as they show off their old-fashioned exteriors while navigating a series of challenging circuits between Antibes and the invariably popular yacht charter hotspot of Juan-les-Pins.
Each year, the regatta attracts around 15 sailing yachts eager to be crowned victor of this prestigious racing event.
The racing divisions for the event are as follows; vintage yachts (built before 1950), classic yachts (built before 1976) and the spirit of tradition class.
The regatta stretches across 23 idyllic kilometres of coastline set against the beautiful backdrop of the French Riviera. It kicks off from Europe's oldest marina, Port Vauban, which hosts a number of exciting social events.
These include exhibitions, concerts and parades which ensure the regatta is as much a celebration as it is a competition.
