Annual charity event Miami Yacht Rendezvous will return on 7 November with three days of glamourous yacht hops, cocktail parties and celebrity entertainment.
The 32nd edition of the long-running event will take place on Fisher Island in Florida and continue its fund-raising activities which, to date, have raised more than $30 million for the Boys & Girls of Broward Country and the at-risk youths it serves.
Traditional weekend favourites such as the ‘Dine Around the Docks’ yacht hop will be back on the line-up as yacht owners, captains and crew go out of their way to impress the guests in attendance.
Other top events are expected to include an exclusive VIP party, a themed dockside party and a charity gala at the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne followed by an after party.
For two consecutive editions, US pop star Jason Derulo, alumni of the Boys & Girls Club, has performed at the gala dinner and entertainment of the same calibre is expected in 2019.
The entertainment is not solely limited to the evenings, however. During the day, open house yacht tours are expected to take place to showcase a number of new models on display. There will also be activities such as silent auctions, casual luncheons, fashion shows and a scavenger hunt.
Owners donate money to the charity based on the size of their luxury yachts, while individuals pay a one-off fee to attend. For further details, speak to your preferred charter broker.
