Well established as the leading sporting event on the yachting calendar, the 2016 Monaco Grand Prix is set to offer even more of an exhilarating ride when it arrives in Monte Carlo next September.
Voiced as Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton’s most cherished race, the 260km Monti Carlo circuit boasts a driving experience like no other and one which last year saw the Briton’s victory snatched from him due to an unfortunate change of tactics.
As the slowest and shortest yet most challenging circuit in Formula One, this mythical race sees driver’s race 78 laps navigating the sharp and narrow Loews Hairpin, short bursts of acceleration from first gear and slippery surfaces to make for exceptionally demanding driving where the slightest error is fatal.
Just as track position is key for drivers, spectator position on a Monaco luxury yacht charter is what makes this unique event the most glamorous race. The marina, a hairbreadth away from the track, is host to some of the world’s most spectacular superyachts over 3 days, as 120,00 spectators unite to witness the most unforgettable race in the world.
