Antigua, Caribbean
19 - 23 Feb 2018
Sailing enthusiasts from around the world will gather in the sparkling waters of Antigua on 19th February for the highly anticipated 2018 RORC (Royal Ocean Race Club) Caribbean 600.
Now in its 10th year, the RORC Caribbean 600 is expected to see one of the largest ever offshore fleets of sailing yachts compete in the annual 600-mile-long race that circumnavigates around 11 Caribbean islands.
Last year, close to 900 sailors, including Olympic medallists and America’s Cup winners, competed in the regatta, and the 2018 edition is sure to attract the same calibre of competitors and crew.
Starting and finishing in Antigua, the race course is a test of speed and agility as it weaves around Barbuda, St Kitts and Nevis, and St Barths, before circling the superyacht hub of St Martin and heading back down to Guadeloupe.
A prize giving ceremony at the Antigua Yacht Club will round-up the regatta on the final evening. Winners will be presented with an array of silverware, medallions and decanters, and the party will, as always, continue late into the night.
If you are interested in undertaking a regatta charter at the event or would prefer to take in all the action from the comfort of a luxury charter yacht, speak to your preferred charter broker.
