The Superyacht Challenge sees yachts in an excess of 80 feet competing in this exhilarating event at Nelson’s Dockyard.
The magnificent fleet take part in three days of spectacular racing, and with a limited entry of 12-15 yachts the regatta ensures spectators and competitors are set for thrilling racing guaranteed to open the Caribbean season in style.
By using the ‘Bucket Rating’ system the racing is ever-more close and exhilarating and with trade wind conditions and remarkable waters the event offers visitors a fantastic occasion.
Starting and finishing at the entrance of English Harbour there are four 12-30 mile Pursuit Races that are set daily according to the prevailing weather and whilst the racing is very competitive the regatta is dedicated to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
Free from commercial endorsements and no title sponsorship, the Superyacht Challenge Antigua is held for the simple enjoyment of the participants with famous Superyacht Challenge social parties hosted throughout the regatta with faultless Caribbean hospitality.
