Set on the velvet sands of Santa Eulalia bay, Chiringuito Blue was a relaxed beach restaurant and bar where the east of the Mediterranean met Ibiza.
Opening in 2018, Chiringuito Blue had made quite the impression. By just looking at its one open-side dining terrace that strecthed along the shore, it was easy to see why the venue held such appeal – and that’s before you even sampled the delicious cuisine.
Smaller yachts could moor in Santa Eulalia’s marina, just a 15 minute stroll away, while a tender could deliver superyacht-goers to the beach itself. This made Chiringuito Blue an ideal addition to an Ibiza yacht charter.
Nothing obscured the views across the Mediterranean as the sun streamed over plush sofas and tables. Think natural materials, a sea-inspired colour palette and casual-cool comfort which was perfectly at one with the boho-luxe vibes of Ibiza.
Large reclining sun beds offered daytime relaxation with drinks delivered directly to sun-worshippers. Hand-crafted cocktails made the perfect accompaniment to long, lazy beach days and top-quality wine picked from the cellars of Spain’s finest vineyards were available too.
Laidback beats were another signature of Chiringuito Blue, and families were also welcome. Grown-ups could unwind on a shaded sofa while the kids were taken care of by the island’s premier child-minding company, and amazing play areas were just steps away.
The beach club’s emphasis was very much on fresh, organic and local produce, and heading up the ever-evolving seasonal menu was Israeli master chef Haim Cohen. Visitors could expect a mouth-watering fusion of produce from Ibiza and Middle Eastern delights.
Starters that stood out were the chickpeas with homemade tahini and the Greek Tzatziki, best enjoyed with warm pitta bread. Mains included baked fish, pasta and a chargrilled chicken for two, while vegetarians and vegans were well-catered for too.
Desserts also wowed at Chiringuito Blue, particularly the Carpigiani soft-serve ice cream machine, with the tahini flavour having always been a winner.
