Today the most famous of the Pacha club group, this legendary Ibiza venue has been a staple of the island’s house and techno music scene since its launch more than 40 years ago.
The first Pacha opened in the Spanish beach town of Sitges in 1967 and, six years later, arrived in Ibiza during the isle’s hippy days. Ever since its inception, the 3,500-capacity club has kept on top of its game, trailblazing trends to keep its masses of revelers entertained night after night.
Behind its whitewashed doors, resident DJs have included big names such as David Guetta, Bob Sinclair, Benni Bennassi and Pete Tong. And, despite its reputation as a house stalwart, Pacha Ibiza has a variety of other musical styles on the clubbing menu, ranging from funk and disco to hip-hop and R&B.
