The 61.5m/201'9" motor yacht 'Calypso' (ex. Solemar) by the Dutch shipyard Amels offers flexible accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 cabins and features interior styling by Michael Leach.
From bow to stern, Calypso is brimming with an fantastic array of social and dining areas, both inside and out, making her the ideal yacht for relaxing and entertaining whilst on charter. She is equipped with a spa and gym.
Guest Accommodation
Calypso is great for families thanks to her child-friendly setup. Built in 2003, She offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests with a layout comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin and four double cabins. There are 9 beds in total, including 2 king, 4 queen, 4 pullmans and 1 convertible. She is also capable of carrying up to 15 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.
Onboard Comfort & Entertainment
Keeping comfortable and entertained on Calypso is easy thanks to the available amenities including a serene luxury spa, for the utmost in relaxation. A gym with all the latest equipment is available for a good work out and soak up the bubbles in style in the deck jacuzzi.
Calypso benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter including satellite communications, keeping you connected on any voyage. With Wi-Fi connectivity you don't have to lose contact with the outside world, unless you want to and you can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.
Performance & Range
Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 15 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots with a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles from her 168,350 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots.
Toys
Onboard Calypso has a large selection of toys and accessories to keep you and your guests entertained on the water throughout your stay. Principle among these are two Laser Sports Pico sailboats to bring out the explorer in you. Another excellent feature are Freestyle waterslides for guests of all ages to enjoy. Also there are towable toys offering fun and adventure. If that isn't enough Calypso also features waterskis, a Kite Surfer, a seabob, wakeboards, kayaks and much more. When it comes to Tenders, Calypso has you covered - with three tenders, including a 7.5m/24'7" Dariel Tender.
Calypso is available upon request for charter this winter. She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the Mediterranean.
