The 44.7m/146'8" motor yacht 'Albacora' (ex. Albacora of Tortola) was built by Wilton Fijenoord at their Schiedam shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Studio Angeletti and she was completed in 1948. She was last refitted in 2007.

Albacora is built with a steel hull and steel superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3408 C DITA) 8-cylinder 480hp engines running at 1800rpm, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots with a range of up to 4,376 nautical miles from her 30,000 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Her low draft of 2.15m/7'1" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 8,500 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Germanischer Lloyd ✠ 100 A5 Motor Yacht, MC- Y classification society rules.
