The 33m/108'3" open yacht 'King' (ex. Samoa Bay) was built by Overmarine in Italy at their Viareggio shipyard. Her interior is styled by Italian designer design house Stefano Righini and she was completed in 2004. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Stefano Righini and she was last refitted in 2018.

Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M92) 12-cylinder 2,730hp engines running at 2100rpm, she comfortably cruises at 33 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 37 knots with a range of up to 400 nautical miles from her 14,000 litre fuel tanks at 32 knots. Her low draft of 1.2m/3'11" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 2,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to BV (Bureau Veritas) classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
