The 27.4m/89'11" motor yacht 'Griffioen' was built by Bloemsma Van Breemen in the Netherlands at their Makkum shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Felix Buytendijk Yacht Design and she was completed in 2006. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of De Vries Lentsch and she was last refitted in 2024.

Griffioen is built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by 1 x diesel Kelvin (TBSC8) 550hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 11 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots with a range of up to 5,500 nautical miles from her 24,983 litre fuel tanks at 11 knots. Her water tanks store around 6,813 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register SSc Yacht G6 classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
