The 40.05m/131'5" motor yacht 'Tayrona' (ex. Ambassador) was built by Sunseeker in the United Kingdom at their Poole, Dorset shipyard. Her interior is styled by British designer design house Sunseeker and she was completed in 2012. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Sunseeker and she was last refitted in 2021.
Tayrona has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V4000M93) 3,180hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 13 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 20 knots with a range of up to 1,300 nautical miles from her 28,710 litre fuel tanks at 13 knots. Tayrona features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels. Her water tanks store around 4,950 Litres of fresh water. She was built to RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) classification society rules.
