One Michelin-starred Yoshi is the world's first Japanese restaurant from renowned chef Joël Robuchon. It combines the elegance of delicate Japanese cuisine with the luxury of the French Riviera.
Since opening in December 2008, it’s clear to see that a number of experts and artists were involved in the creation of this esteemed restaurant housed in five-star Hotel Metropole.
Founded by celebrated chef Joël Robuchon, the eatery's setting has been meticulously designed by French architect Didier Gomez while its beautiful garden was created by landscape artist Jacques Messin. The result is an elegant fusion of modern Japanese cuisine served in luxurious surrounds befitting of the Côte d’Azur.

As the second offering from Joël Robuchon in Hotel Metropole, Yoshi offers an alternative menu to the Mediterranean cuisine found in the famous chef’s first restaurant. But it embodies the same ethos of fresh, healthy ingredients, so if your Monaco yacht charter has left you yearning for Japanese fine dining, Yoshi’s menu will not disappoint.
Having studied with Rubuchon for 14 years, Japanese chef Takeo Yamazaki returned to run the kitchen here, bringing with him a wealth of experience in both traditional flavours and culinary skills from his native country.
The restaurant's setting is intimate and exclusive. A zen-like design of clean lines and stripped-back wood is brightened with bold colours and softened with tactile silk fabrics while its sushi bar opens out onto a beautiful Japanese-inspired garden. It gives its esteemed guests an opportunity to step off their luxury charter yacht and into the inviting, unique surroundings of a world-class restaurant.
