10 of the top charter yachts attending the Monaco Yacht Show 2018

By Rebecca Bradbury   21 September 2018

As well as hosting a number of world debuts and iconic superyachts, the Monaco Yacht Show 2018 will also display an exciting collection of yachts available for charter.

The 28th edition of the Monaco Yacht Show promises to bring together a spectacular selection of superyachts, as well as luxury lifestyle products and yachting accessories.

As ever, the line-up will include some of the global charter fleet’s finest. With this in mind, we've rounded up a cross-section of those in attendance to bring you 10 of the top charter yachts attending this year's Monaco Yacht Show.

Kismet

As one of the most impressive superyachts in the world, it’s no surprise that the 95m/312ft superyacht KISMET from Lurssen ranks as one of the top charter yachts attending the Monaco show. What’s more, at 95 metres, she is the largest yacht on the line-up and will be found on Quai Rainer III.

Embodying a ‘champagne and caviar’ theme throughout, she is ideal for hosting large-scale parties as well as for spending family time together. For example, she boasts a show-stopping double height atrium for entertaining as well as more intimate snugs, gaming spaces and spa facilities.

Barbara

Oceanco’s 86m/290ft motor yacht BARBARA will no doubt turn heads berthed along Quai L’Hirondelle thanks to her powerful exterior profile from Australian designer Sam Sorgiovanni.

Charter guests on board, however, will be able to enjoy a unique split-level master suite with stunning views, an outdoor cinema on the sundeck, a spectacular aquarium made to mirror an aquatic reef in the main salon and a variety of multi-purpose deck spaces.

Air

The 81m/266ft luxury yacht AIR made history when she was launched as the first superyacht built under Annex 2 of LY2 to have a fully certified commercial helicopter pad and, seven years later, she will be taking up position along Quai Rainier 1er for the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show.

Built by Feadship, her exterior styling comes from the talented designers at Studio De Voogt and one of her most popular features is an owners’ observation lounge with a stunning view over the eight-metre-long pool on the main deck forward.

Cloud 9

The 74m/243ft charter yacht ‘Cloud 9’ will be returning to the show after making her worldwide debut at last year’s edition. One of the most exciting superyacht launches of 2017 and a fine addition to the charter market, the CRN build is still sure to attract no-end of attention on Quai Chicane.

Part of her appeal is down to the luxurious beach house-style interior that Winch Design has created across her free-flowing interior, while distinctive outdoor areas such as the private deck forward of the master suite and the large beach club with a drop-down swim platform also hold much allure.

Solo

Making her international debut at this year’s show will be the 72m/236ft charter yacht SOLO. Launched just last month by Tankoa Yachts, she will be one of the newest superyachts on display at the show and attendees will be available to find her lined up along Quai Chicane.

After her time in Monaco, she will begin her very first charter season in the Caribbean where guests can be among the first to swim in her six-metre glass pool, entertain friends and family in the oversized panoramic salon and relax in the beach club with its dedicated spa facilities.

11/11

Another yacht making a repeat appearance at the yachting event is the 63m/207ft superyacht 11/11 from Benetti. She will be easy to spot lined up in Port Hercules due to her dynamic vertical axe bow, which has endowed her with eye-catching looks as well as an enhanced performance.

She boasts many other distinctive features, including a glittering art deco interior with high-quality finishes and custom furniture, a sundeck complete with steam and massage rooms and a huge master suite with its very own private terrace and spa pool.

Seven Sins

The 52m/171ft luxury yacht ‘Seven Sins’ will be back in Monaco after making her debut at the 2017 edition. Offering a huge beach club area with a glass-bottom swimming pool and balconies opening onto the water, the Sanlorenzo build has quickly become a highly favoured charter option.

She was also met with much acclaim within the yachting industry, picking up the 2018 World Superyacht Award for Displacement Motor Yachts Below 500GT (40m and above).

Irisha

Delivered from Heesen in May, the 51m/167ft motor yacht IRISHA will also be making her worldwide premiere at the show and is expected to impress with her radical exterior design, which features aggressive and dynamic lines penned by Harrison Eidsgaard and innovative curved glass.

Those on board will continue to be wowed by the relaxing interior and chic outdoor hangouts, while those underway during a luxury charter will be amazed by her top speed of 25 knots. She can be seen along Quai des Etas-Unis during the show.

Entourage

This year, the 47m/152ft charter yacht ENTOURAGE from Tecnomar will be making her third appearance at the Monaco Yacht Show. She boasts an extraordinary amount of deck space for a yacht of her length and this makes her a highly popular charter option among outdoor lovers.

Yet, her minimalist interior with its oversized artworks and giant mirrors is also favoured among guests, as is the private gymnasium and hammam in the master suite. Visitors to the yachting event will see her berthed on Quai Chicane.

Rox Star

There is no other charter yacht quite like the 40m/131ft sailing yacht ‘Rox Star’ from Turkish shipyard Oguz Marine. With 600-square-metres of elegant black sails, a high sailing performance and a rock ‘n’ roll interior, she promises a one-of-a-kind charter experience.

Over the course of the yachting event, she will be lined up in Quai Rainier Ier, showcasing her rock star artworks, innovative swim platform and inviting deck areas to visitors.
