The 109m/358ft motor yacht 'Bravo Eugenia' has been crowned with the coveted 'Yacht of the Year' title at the World Yacht Trophies awards in Cannes, sharing the spot with Benetti's 107m/351ft charter yacht LANA.
Coinciding with the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival, the World Yacht Trophies were held at a glitzy gala event at the Ritz Carlton Hotel on Saturday 14 September.
The winners of the prestigious awards ceremony have been announced, and Oceanco's Bravo Eugenia has stormed to victory in the "Yacht of the Year" category for yachts measuring over 82m.
This is the second coveted trophy for the Oceanco build, after she was honoured in the Technology and Innovation category at the Yacht Club de Monaco's Le Belle Epoque Explorer Awards earlier this year.
She was launched by the Dutch yard at the tail end of 2018 and she is sharing the win with LANA, which also won Yacht of the Year at the World Yacht Trophies 2019.
Promising a significant reduction in fuel usage, Bravo Eugenia boasts LIFE-design credentials.
LIFE is a naval architecture concept which takes its acronym from Lengthened, Innovative, Fuel-Efficient and Eco-Friendly, and with this concept in mind, the motor yacht is able to offer a much more environmentally-conscious approach to yachting.
Naval architecture comes from Lateral, while the yacht's attention-grabbing exterior have been penned by Nuvolari & Lenard.

The Italian studio has created a strikingly angular profile, characterised by slender lines and streamlined superstructure.
Previously, Dan Lenard has described the yacht's exteriors as 'stunningly sleek [...] without sacrificing any interior space.'
The motor yacht's interiors have been headed up by Reymond Langton Design, with key materials including maple wood, white pearl lacquer and walnut and ebony wood accents featuring throughout.
On-board features include twin helipads, an aft deck swimming pool, a large tender garage and a spa with sauna, steam room, plunge pool and rain shower.

As well as Bravo Eugenia, Heesen's 50m/164ft motor yacht ERICA also stormed to victory in the World Yacht Trophies. The 2019 launch won in the 'Best Innovations' category for yachts between 38-50m.
