145m Lürssen superyacht LUMINANCE spotted on sea trials

Lürssen’s highly secretive 145m (475ft) megayacht LUMINANCE has been spotted undertaking her all-important sea trials near to her build shipyard in Germany.

Although we have scant information about Lurssen’s latest superyacht, these pictures reveal two helipads, one on her bow and one on her bridge deck aft, as well as a slew of alfresco relaxation and entertainment areas, culminating in a vast swimming pool and adjacent dip pool on her main deck aft.

This leads to a wide swim platform with what appears to be an intimate circular seating area, which will undoubtedly offer beautiful waterside views for her on board guests.

Set to rank as the 15th largest yacht in the world upon completion, the 9,400 GT motor yacht showcases sleek lines with an elongated bow and cascading aft deck, with a rich midnight blue hull, blonde teak decking and plenty of glazing to enhance the natural light throughout her interior spaces.

Her distinctive exterior styling is from the boards of world-class designer Espen Øino, marking the 30th collaboration between the designer and the shipyard, meanwhile the renowned Italian studio Zuretti is responsible for her interior design.

She will be delivered to her owners at some point in the near future, but at this stage is not expected to be made available for charter.
