The 55.2m (181ft) motor yacht GECO was launched by Admiral Yachts this morning. Following delivery, she will be available for private yacht charters this summer.
GECO hit the water first thing this morning at the Italian Sea Group's facilities in Marina di Carrara on Italy's northwest coast.
Featuring an aluminium hull and superstructure, the motor yacht is part of the yard's S-Force series. Her naval architecture, exterior and interior design have all been completed in-house.
She is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 16.5 knots thanks to twin Caterpillar C32 Acert engines.
Accommodation is for a total of 12 guests in six ensuite cabins, including a main deck master, a full-beam VIP suite and four additional guest cabins on the lower deck.
The yacht places heavy emphasis on alfresco living, which is evident in her outdoor cinema and well-appointed sundeck with oversized dip pool.
Her beach club is unique in that it's open-air, and can function as a dining space as well as a social area. Guests will love feeling so close to the sea, and can make full use of the yacht's toy chest and retractable bathing steps.
Other on-board highlights include a foredeck which can serve as a touch-n-go helipad.
