At the Hotel Hermitage in Monaco, Benetti held a press conference where interior designer Valentina Zannier unveiled the design inspiration behind the interiors of the 85m (278.8ft) superyacht concept, Project ORO.
Initially introduced at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2022, Project ORO is a first-time collaboration between designer Valentina Zannier and Benetti, with the exterior design and layout of the motor yacht being penned by the Italian designer Giorgio Cassetta. The exterior of Project ORO showcases elegance, as seen through the subtle, flowing lines that run along the yacht's profile.
Project ORO is noted for its spacious volume and grand dimensions, giving it an imposing silhouette while maintaining an elegant appearance.
Zannier's artistic vision for the superyacht involves a mix of modern styles with traditional detailing, giving the interior decor of Project ORO an opulent jewel-like feel. The design also incorporates fluid shapes, providing a smooth transition between the exterior and interior of the yacht, something that is highly desirable on luxury charter yachts.
Project ORO's interior design also features an array of natural materials set against warm neutral tones. This is particularly noticeable in the design of the superyacht's beach club, which has been revealed.
It is not yet known whether Project ORO will become available for crewed yacht charters.
