Damen Shiprepair Vlissingen and Rossilini’s Four-10 sign outfitting contract for world's largest yacht for charter REV OCEAN

Set to redefine marine exploration and luxury yacht experiences, 639.9ft (195m) superyacht charter REV OCEAN, is progressing to outfitting stages following a contract signing between Damen Shiprepair Vlissingen (DSV) and Rossilini's Four-10.

A remarkable research and expedition yacht charter, REV OCEAN will offer unprecedented capabilities for scientific research while also emerging as one of the world's largest yachts for charter.

Marking the largest contract in DSV's history, the commencement of outfitting stages signifies the impending delivery of the magnificent yacht, following years of delays and additional work due to “technical and weight challenges”.

Making a trio of record-breaking moves, the captivating expedition yacht is set to take the title of the largest charter yacht in the world - bumping the previous crown-bearer 446.2ft (136m) superyacht charter FLYING FOX to second place. Superseding the Lurssen yacht charter by length and gross tonnage, REV OCEAN will also launch straight to the top of the YB100 - the most accurate method for measuring the world's biggest yachts, knocking 511.10ft (156m) superyacht DILBAR and her gross tonnage of 15,917GT down a notch.

Finalizing her hattrick, luxury charter yacht REV OCEAN will also be set to dethrone 592.8ft (180.65m) superyacht AZZAM off the top slot for the Top100.
