Day one of the Monaco Yacht Show is in full swing in Port Hercules, where this year's fleet of 120 superyachts is assembled and waiting to welcome visitors on board.
The Monaco Yacht Show has got off to a sunny start today in Port Hercules, with thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors present at the show alongside a stellar lineup of superyachts from shipyards across the globe.
As ever, YachtCharterFleet is on the ground to bring you live reporting from the boat show.
Attendees enjoyed sunshine all day today, but a moderate swell posed a problem for those looking to view the 99 yachts out at anchor. However, the stands and superyachts ensure there's plenty to peruse inside Monaco port.
A winner of last night's Monaco Yacht Show Superyacht Awards, 80m motor yacht EXCELLENCE from Abeking & Rasmussen has been turning plenty of heads today.
Her Winch Design-exteriors lend her a futuristic, spaceship-style profile that has created a buzz in Port Hercules, and she has been invariably popular among prospective charter clients and industry professionals alike.
She joins the largest yacht ever to star on the MYS lineup; 111m/366ft motor yacht TIS. She is a brand new launch from Lurssen which has recently been made available for luxury yacht charters.
Away from the fleet, the stands are offering a lot to see as well. New models are being shown off and key representatives from major shipyards are on hand to provide advice and information about their latest projects.
