Day one of the Monaco Yacht Show 2022 is well underway in the glamorous Port Hercules, where this year's 138-strong fleet of superyachts is assembled and waiting, both in-show and at anchor, to welcome visitors on board.
Opening to clear blue skies, this year's show has got off to a great start with select badge holders, including Sapphire VIP guests, end-clients and their teams, once again invited to attend the show's exclusive opening, before the event is opened to the general public on Thursday 29 September.
The Monaco Yacht Show runs from 28 September to 1 October, with the first day of the show dedicated to connecting industry professionals with clients and other colleagues. This enables key players to take full advantage of the networking opportunities available without the usual busy crowds.
This also includes being free to conduct a number of important yacht viewings, peruse the standout exhibitions and unhampered access to the show's hotly-anticipated new areas for 2022.
Hundreds of exhibitors are in place ready to present at the show alongside a stellar lineup of superyachts from shipyards across the globe.
Away from the fleet, the stands are offering a lot to see as well. New models are being shown off and key representatives from major shipyards are on hand to provide advice and information about their latest projects. This year also sees the new Adventure Area and Sustainable Hub, reflecting the show’s drive in targeting the up-coming generation of superyacht clientele, as well as a renewed focus towards more sustainable solutions and eco-friendly initiatives.
As ever, YachtCharterFleet is on the ground to bring you live reporting from the boat show.
