There is a huge flurry of activity as the show’s exhibitors put the finishing touches in place at the prestigious Port Hercules for the Monaco Yacht Show 2021, which promises to be better than ever before with a new format and exciting new areas. YachtCharterFleet is currently on the ground at the show gearing up for the annual event tomorrow.
Running from 22 - 25 September, the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is operating a new client-focused format this year, with its doors opening tomorrow to Sapphire VIP, Discover and Advise badge holders only, with the show opening to Connect badge holders from 23 September.
The marina is currently a hive of activity as the finishing touches are put in place ahead of day one. There are all-new areas for MYS 2021, including a section dedicated to sailing, design and exploration, as well as the much-anticipated Yacht Design & Innovation Hub, that aims to present technological solutions to Owners and their teams, for an all-round enhanced yachting experience.
In a concerted bid to ensure the show’s overall success, visitors should expect stricter protocols than many experienced at the Cannes Yachting Festival earlier in the month.
There will also be tighter restrictions on yacht viewings, as well as limits on capacities in restaurants, cafes and bars. Organisers of the MYS 2021 event promise exceptionally high standards of sanitary measures will be upheld throughout the show.
Hundreds of exhibitors will be attending the show, and work to set up the stands has continued well into the evening.
The 181-strong fleet is being made to look its best, with yacht crews hard at work cleaning the exteriors and interiors of the yachts being shown.
The crew of charter yacht TATIANA were seen (pictured) polishing and buffing her exterior in preparation for tomorrow's show.
TATIANA looks set to be one of the major draw cards at the event, showcasing an array of spectacular amenities, as well as one of the best superyacht beach clubs in the world.
By tomorrow, expect the show's trademark blue carpet to be rolled out, ready to welcome the first visitors for the show's inaugural launch of its new format for the Monaco Yacht Show 2021.
Due to the strict Covid protocols for this year's show, anyone wishing to view a yacht, either in-show or at anchor, will need to organise this in advance.
Therefore, we advise that if you'd like to learn more about any of the charter yachts in the lineup or organise a pre-booked viewing, please reach out to your preferred yacht charter broker.
