During the 2014 Mediterranean Yacht Show in May we were invited aboard the 47m/150’ superyacht ‘Lady Dee’ for a delicious lunch and saw for ourselves why she is such a fantastic choice for Mediterranean charters.
On first impressions it is clear that ‘Lady Dee’ has been finished to the highest possible standards, designed with style and entertainment in mind. Built by the Voorland Shipyard in Holland in 2012, her sleek exterior lines are the work of celebrated Dutch designer Cor D Rover and won’t look out of place in the most exclusive of Mediterranean ports.
Her beautiful interior successfully balances quality with comfort, combining a neutral palette with accents of navy blue and a variety of fine fabrics and dark wood furnishings. Her sumptuous open-plan main salon features two versatile seating arrangements made up of L-shaped sofas and armchairs which leads on to an elegant formal dining area where lunch for the day was served.
The lighting throughout ‘Lady Dee’ has been meticulously designed to emphasize the space of the living areas while providing a soft, inviting ambience. Her staterooms comprise of a stunning master suite, a VIP stateroom, two double cabins and two twin cabins, a perfect layout for families and groups of friends looking.
Her outdoor areas are just as impressive, offering wide open deck spaces with a variety of sunpads, seating and al fresco dining choices both open and shaded, ensuring you make the most of the fantastic views such as the stunning Greek Islands. Her spacious sundeck is home to a good-sized Jacuzzi flanked by sunpads while her aft swim platform provides easy access to her great collection of toys, to include a Naumatec 6.10 metre tender and jet skis.
‘Lady Dee’ is available for charter throughout the summer in the Mediterranean at weekly charter rates starting from €140,000. Contact your charter broker for more details or view the full list of charter yachts in the Mediterranean.
