Lürssen, one of the leading superyacht builders in the world, has officially commented on the launch of their latest luxury motor yacht 'Solandge'.
Known as Project Niki, this sleek and elegant luxury yacht is the work of award-winning exterior superyacht designer Espen Oeino, and Aileen Rodriguez who was responsible for her interior. M/Y Solandge was launched last week in Germany at Lurssen's shipyard.
A spokesperson for Lurssen stated, "We are happy that we have met the high-end expectations from the Owner in terms of product quality and being able to stay within budget and on time. We are looking forward for Solandge to be delivered as scheduled and finding her place amongst her peers as being a remarkable statement in large yacht construction, based on an excellent design and excellent engineering skills." Lurssen are due to deliver the World's Largest yacht later this year, the 180m motor yacht 'Azzam'.
The entire project was overseen by Master Yachts who are no stranger to yacht project management. Other projects they have been involved with include well-know superyachts such as the 95m Blohm & Voss megayacht Palladium, Polar Star, Natori, SY Drumbeat, Expedition Yacht Seawolf, and the 45m Princess Iolanthe motor yacht.
As has already been reported, motor yacht Solandge will make her Charter Debut in the Caribbean this Winter, bolstering the already impressive lineup of Lurssen superyachts for charter.
