New legislation from Indian government now means charter yachts can visit the beautiful Andaman and Nicobar Islands on a superyacht vacation.
The introduction of a new E-visa (available at nine airports across India, including Delhi and Mumbai) is a move that the tourist board hope will attract more luxury yacht charters to the country and its beautiful surrounding islands.
The new Electronic Travel Authorisation Scheme makes it considerably easier for visitors to travel to India, as travellers must apply at least four days before arriving in India – rather than having to wait weeks for a standard visa.
