Renowned Photographer Marc Paris Killed in Plane Crash

Turkish newspaper 'Hurriyet Daily News' reported that the crash took place in Antalya on 24th December killing both Marc and the pilot. The cause of the crash is unknown.

Marc Paris (aged 57) was renowned as one of the best yachting photographers in the world. The list of yacht builders, brokers and mega yachts themselves that he worked on is endless; from Amels and Mondo Marine to Fraser Yachts and Hargrave, Bel Abri, Seawolf,  DB9 and more. His work has regularly been published on the covers of some of the world's leading yacht magazines and he was even known, in some cases, to shoot video along with his portfolio of photographs.

Earlier this year, Marc founded FAB Studio Photo Video, based in Nice, France. This non-profit, charity organisation helps to promote photography, filming and editing, and much more and holds regular exhibitions and workshops. FAB Studio have promised to finish one of Marc's biggest and most important projects, the book "Super Yachts & Superb Crew" to pay tribute to his memory. They are also organising a day in memory of Marc which will be held in January.

Marc's devotion, energy and passion for both photography and yachts was contagious and he always had such enthusiasm for any project he worked on. He had the ability to juggle thousands of projects at any one time, each one with the same enthusiasm. One of his most recent productions was a video of Parsifal III, which he shot in October.

His passing is a great loss and our condolences go out to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
