SF Marina Unveils Port Nimara: Redefining Anguilla As A Premier Yacht Charter Destination

The SF Group, a prominent international marina construction and development firm based in Sweden, has announced the start of excavation works for Port Nimara, a cutting-edge maritime hub poised to reshape Anguilla's economic and tourism sectors.

Nestled strategically between the esteemed Cap Juluca and Altamer estates, Port Nimara is a visionary nautical development that boasts 118 berths for Caribbean yacht charters up to 260 feet (79m). This project includes a luxurious 62-key five-star hotel operated by a renowned New York luxury brand, 18 stunning beachfront villas, and 45 residences, with plans to expand to 18 additional upland villas.

Its prime location—just 26 nautical miles from Saint Barts, home to the legendary St Barts New Year's Eve celebrations, and a short 11 nautical miles from Sint Maarten's international airport. Ensuring exceptional accessibility for commercial vessels and boat charters.

The venture is a collaboration between TEI Inc., a New York-based development group led by Francis Greenburger, and Antillean Development LLC, an Anguillan developer under George A. Fraser's guidance. Projected to create 200 direct jobs and around 500 additional roles across hospitality, maritime, retail, and support industries, Port Nimara is attracting substantial international investment.

Set to feature an exclusive yacht club, advanced customs and immigration facilities, a scenic waterfront promenade, state-of-the-art security systems, and comprehensive maintenance services, SF Marina has incorporated sustainable design elements to ensure the development aligns with Anguilla's marine environment, implementing advanced environmental protection strategies.

In conjunction with the marina's development, Anguilla's airport will undergo a major expansion, including a runway extension to 7,800 feet to accommodate all types of private jets and commercial aircraft, enabling direct connections from major hubs in the USA.
