As one of the busiest Caribbean yacht charter destinations for the winter season, Yacht Haven Grande at St Thomas has proven its worth once again with another award attached to its name.
Also winning the award in 2016 and 2019, the St Thomas marina in the US Virgin Islands has recently endured a series of historic events including its survival through two Category 5 hurricanes in 2017.
However, Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria weren't enough to prevent Yacht Haven Marina from becoming the first North American marina to obtain the prestigious Gold Anchor 'Platinum' Level accolade from The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA).
Fast forward to today and Kenny Jones says; “I am beaming with pride for the Yacht Haven Grande team, along with the other IGY family members across the globe, for being the absolute best in the world and for delivering consistently exceptional service to our superyacht owners, guests, captains and crew.”
To receive the Towergate TYHA award over two consecutive years – and for the third time – is a testament to our state-of-the-art superyacht facility.
Nestled by the picturesque Long Bay, in the vicinity of Charlotte Amalie, the Yacht Haven Harbour offers 46 berths up to 200m (656') plus a wide spread of immediate facilities for visiting yacht charters.
Lit up tennis courts, a beach volleyball set-up and a lagoon style pool are just some of the highlights, in addition to the multiple restaurants offering a true taste of the Caribbean.
In light of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the marina's management team at IGY Marinas are keen to assure visitors that they will be offering screenings for COVID-19 to visiting charters.
