Considered by many to be the yachting capitol of the USA, Newport is a stunning town and host to the annual Newport Charter Show in June.

A magical town of inescapable beauty, the sunrise and sunset over Newport, Rhode Island will bring a tear to your eye. Founded in 1639 and known for pirates and rum runners, it is said that at one point, the law dictated that every citizen was entitled to a cask of rum on a regular basis. Once a busy colonial seaport built around a large, sheltered harbour, today the town has a thriving year-round yachting community and a fantastic selection of marinas to choose from.

Providing easy access to all the cruising grounds of southern New England, during the summer, the harbour becomes jam-packed with charter yachts. Once upon a time, the town was home to the America’s Cup, but now it hosts more yachting events than any other town, offering reliable sea breezes and a fabulous choice of first-class restaurants, assorted boutiques, and a well-preserved downtown that reveals Newport’s colonial history.

This year’s Newport Charter Show is scheduled to run from 23^rd to 26^th June and will be the 32^nd edition of the show. Showcasing luxury chartering and the charter lifestyle, the event is a one-of-a kind show in North America and attracts visitors from around the world.
