The iconic island of Santorini is one of the most popular islands in Greece as well as the Mediterranean, famous for its breath-taking sunsets that sink below the caldera and ochre-coloured cliffs that line the coastline.

Located in the south of the beautiful Cyclades archipelago, Santorini’s white-washed villages and inky waters provide a picture postcard setting for any luxury yacht charter vacation. The island was formed by an eruption thousands of years ago causing the Aegan Sea to flood in and create the famous crescent-shaped island we see today. It also left behind a multitude if secluded coves and bays boasting volcanic sands and backed by some of the most spectacular scenery to be found in within the Greek islands as well as a rich, mythical history.

From relaxing in the natural volcanic springs to drinking wine from the local vineyards, Santorini offers the quintessential Greece luxury yacht charter experience combined the with stylish bars and fantastic restaurants for which it is famed. Head to Oia on the north coast for the most sophisticated designer boutiques and eateries and a visit to the capital of Fira is a must. The villages of Akrotiri, Firostefani, Imerovigli, Megalochori and Pyrgos are calm and beautiful, and have good connections with the larger towns.
