- Day 1
St Anne
Meet up with your luxury charter yacht on the largest island of the Seychelles, Mahe. Enjoy a leisurely stroll around the local area as you make your way to board your vessel, ready to raise the anchor for the first destination of your Seychelles experience.
St Anne is a marine national park in the Seychelles, meaning you will find idyllic settings in a pristine condition. Spend the afternoon getting acquainted with the waters around the coast by taking a couple of dives to visit the corals below. Displaying a multitude of colours and types, the coral formations are pretty and flourishing, with an abundance of beautifully coloured fish flitting around the stems. See many species here and keep your eyes peeled for reef sharks and smaller critters like crabs.
The first evening of your tour can be spent on the decking of your luxury charter yacht over a champagne bucket and a candlelit michelin style supper.
- Day 2
Cocos Island
After a relaxing morning on the beaches of St Anne, continue onto the next stop on your list, Cocos Island.
Surrounded by interesting rock formations eroded over time by nature, Cocos Island has some intriguing diving spots for you to explore. Underneath the waves and in between the nooks and crannies of the rocks you can find a large number of small critters hiding, in addition to the many fish who frequent the area.
If there’s still some time for the day you can make the most of the open waters by bringing out your water sports toys. View the Cocos Island from a different angle by kiteboarding or get closer to the water with a cocktail on a paddle boat. Finish off the day with a relaxed beach barbeque under the setting sun.
- Day 3
La Digue
Cruising away from solitude for the day, the third day of your luxury charter yacht tour of the Seychelles will take you to La Digue.
La Digue has plenty in store for you, starting off with a walk through the Veuve Nature Reserve. This impeccable reserve has a dense coverage of foliage and is home to fascinating native flora, fauna and wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for the extremely rare black paradise flycatcher. Lunch today will come at a price. Hike up some of the 980 feet of Belle Vue for a stunning picnic location with a sweeping panoramic view.
After descending from the mountain enjoy a well earnt dive into the cool waters around the coast of La Digue. Diving here is very popular due to the vast selection of underwater wildlife that visits the area. On a dive at La Digue you can expect to see thousands of fish, rays and sharks.
Top off the day with an ox cart ride around the local town, pick up some gifts to take home to your loved ones and enjoy an authentic meal at a harbourside eaterie.
- Day 4
Cousin Island
Once again moving away from the heavy tourist area of the Seychelles, Cousin Island has an amazing treat in store for you and your party.
Amchoring down the luxury charter yacht in the sheltered harbour, enjoy a little you time on the quiet beaches of Cousin Island, accompanied only by the sound of the ocean and the native birds. Explore the island further by trekking through the foliage which provides shelter and homes to the many rare birds in the nature reserve. Look skywards as you walk with your binoculars to get some close up glances of the spectacular birds here and don’t forget your camera.
After a light lunch the wildlife encounters continue as you prepare to explore Cousin Island from underneath the waves. In addition to the many fish and small critters hovering around the seabed, the amazing giant tortoise is the creature to keep your eyes open for. Get some priceless photos of them before returning to your luxury charter yacht to move on to Praslin for an overnight anchorage.
- Day 5
Praslin
Starting your day nice and early, enjoy a continental breakfast on the decking of your chosen vessel before disembarking to begin another day of exploring.
Today you will see one of the world’s smallest UNESCO World Heritage sites. Locsted through the Vallee de Mai, the heritage site consists of a special type of tree which bears nuts in the shape of a woman’s hips. These controversially shaped nuts have been known to cause a stir on the shores of Africa and definitely worth a look while you’re visiting the Seychelles.
While in this area you can also see the Cocos de mer. These palm trees have huge palms sprouting from the top of an enormous 40 foot trunk. Settle down in the shaded area for a refreshing picnic before making your way back towards your luxury charter yacht and a delightful evening of pampering and fine wining and dining.
- Day 6
Curieuse
Heading back towards the theme of wildlife, the next port of call is Curieuse.
If wildlife and animals are of particular interest to you, this will be the highlight of your tour. Anchoring down your luxury charter yacht in a sheltered bay, it’s time to head straight into the waters before any other charters arrive to the area. As part of the marine national park you cannot remove anything from the area but there’s plenty of opportunities to get some great photographs both above and below the water’s surface.
Taking the plunge into the clear waters, investigate some of the rock formations to see some small critters and underwater fauna hidden in the gaps. Venturing further away you will see many varieties of fish, rays and maybe even sharks. An animal lover will also be pleased to find that there are hundreds of tortoises living on this island. Chances of seeing some are pretty good so don’t go anywhere without your camera.
The remainder of the day is yours so have some snorkelling time closer to the beach or raise your adrenaline levels with some water sports action.
- Day 7
Mahe
Back to where your journey began and time to make the most of the little time you have left in the Seychelles. Take another diving trip to see the schools of fish one last time, indulge in a fulfilling seafood platter and pick up any last minute gifts to take home.
Make your way to the airport in the afternoon with a gorgeous tan and fond memories of the beautiful Seychelles.
