The 42m/137'10" motor yacht 'Blue East' (ex. Blue Eyes) was built by Baglietto in Italy at their Viareggio shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Fabrizio Smania S.p.a. and she was delivered to her owner in August 2004. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Francesco Paszkowski Design and she was last refitted in 2011.
Blue East has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Blue East is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512 DITA) 12-cylinder 1,948hp engines running at 1835rpm, she comfortably cruises at 15 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 5,182 nautical miles from her 75,000 litre fuel tanks at 14 knots. Her water tanks store around 18,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
