The 53.3m/174'10" sail yacht 'El Boughaz I' (ex. Black Douglas) was built by Bath Iron Works in the United States at their Bath, ME shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house John Munford and she was completed in 1930. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Gielow & Orr and she was last refitted in 2006.
She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
El Boughaz I is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. El Boughaz I comfortably cruises at 8 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 11 knots with a range of up to 6,910 nautical miles from her 48,000 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 40,000 Litres of fresh water.
