The 35.7m/117'2" sail yacht 'Xargo' was built by Astilleros Armon in Spain at their Navia shipyard and she was delivered to her owner in January 1976. She was last refitted in 1988.

Xargo is built with a steel hull and steel superstructure, with steel decks. Powered by twin diesel GM (8V 71) 8-cylinder 355hp engines running at 2300rpm, she comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots. Her water tanks store around 10,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to BV (Bureau Veritas) Yacht /S classification society rules.
