The 30.5m/100'1" expedition yacht 'Discovery' (ex. Neptunus Rey) was built by Romsdal at their Rosendal shipyard. Her interior is styled by American designer design house Jonathan Quinn Barnett and she was completed in 1962. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Jonathan Quinn Barnett and she was last refitted in 2000.
Discovery has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Discovery is built with a steel hull and steel / aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by 1 x diesel Enterprise (DMG 6) 400hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 9 knots with a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles from her 41,635 litre fuel tanks. Her water tanks store around 6,435 Litres of fresh water.
