The 53.95m/177' motor yacht 'Ice Bear' (ex. Royal Pacific) was built by Feadship in the Netherlands at their Aalsmeer shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Paola D. Smith & Associates and she was delivered to her owner in January 1988. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of De Voogt and she was last refitted in 1999.
Ice Bear has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 11 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Ice Bear is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512TA) 12-cylinder 1,175hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 13 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots with a range of up to 4,850 nautical miles from her 76,740 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots. Her water tanks store around 20,640 Litres of fresh water. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) A1, Yachting Service, AMS classification society rules.
