The 84m/275'7" motor yacht 'Dunya DY012' (ex. Icon 280) is due to be launched by Dunya Yachts in Turkey at their Pendik, Istanbul shipyard. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Tim Heywood Design.
Dunya DY012 has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 19 guests in 7 suites comprising one VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 28 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Her features include separate crew passageway, movie theatre, beauty salon, elevator, beach club, gym and air conditioning.
Dunya DY012 is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel-electric Caterpillar (3512 B DITA SCAC) 2,040hp engines running at 1600rpm, she comfortably cruises at 13 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 5,500 nautical miles from her 60,231 litre fuel tanks at 13 knots. Dunya DY012 features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels. Her water tanks store around 31,093 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register ✠ 100 A1 SSC Yacht mono G6 LMS UMS classification society rules.
