The 30.48m/100' motor yacht 'Taima' (ex. Rice Quarters) was built by Hatteras in the United States at their New Bern NC shipyard. Her interior is styled by American designer design house Hatteras and she was completed in 2003. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Jack Hargrave.
Taima has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising one VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M91) 16-cylinder 1,800hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 18 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 23 knots with a range of up to 745 nautical miles from her 5,125 litre fuel tanks at 18 knots. Her water tanks store around 840 Gallons of fresh water.
