Abeking & Rasmussen, a shipyard with a rich history of over 115 years, proudly delivered its latest masterpiece - the magnificent superyacht LIVA°. With a length of 118.2 meters (387ft), this iconic vessel is a testament to sophistication and elegance.
Designed by the passionate experts at Joseph Dirand Architecture in Paris, LIVA° boasts a sleek black hull that exudes a sense of timeless beauty. The shipyard overcame all the challenges of seamlessly integrating all technical aspects into the yacht's design, ensuring that functionality did not compromise its striking aesthetic concept.
The exterior design of motor yacht LIVA° was meticulously crafted to maintain the sleek black silhouette of the vessel. Notably, the yacht integrates underwater anchors on the keel, eliminating the need for traditional anchor bays. This innovative design not only enhances the superyacht's appeal but also improves its efficiency and maneuverability.
LIVA° boasts several standout features that elevate the onboard experience. The Neptune Lounge, a feature first seen in Feadship's M/Y Savannah offers guests unparalleled underwater views through a massive 12' x 4' window, allowing them to marvel at the captivating world beneath the sea's surface. On the main deck, a huge 12 x 4-meter swimming pool adds to the yacht's allure. The pool's bottom can be raised to the upper deck, creating an illusion reminiscent of the sea's surface. Luxurious marble surrounds the pool walls and the surrounding area, enhancing the sense of opulence.
I wanted this boat to be timeless, elegant, pure, sleek, classic and contemporary at the same time, with plenty of open space to blend into the surrounding landscape. That's exactly what I see today when I look at it - the black hull is really spectacular and looks completely monolithic...
Powered by a sophisticated diesel-electric propulsion system, LIVA° offers quiet operation and exceptional maneuverability on the water. The yacht is equipped with two 2200kW electric propulsion motors by RAMME Electric Machines. To ensure a continuous power supply, the vessel features two 2240 kW Caterpillar main generators and three Zeppelin 599 kW Caterpillar auxiliary generators.
The propulsion capabilities and onboard comfort of LIVA° are further enhanced by advanced components. Four VOITH propellers provide power and agility, while four SKF stabilizer fins ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for both passengers and crew. This combination of cutting-edge technology guarantees efficient, silent, and seamless cruising.
For panoramic views and a privileged vantage point, the Crow's Nest, located at the base of the mast, promises an exceptional viewing experience. The yacht also features an exquisitely arranged grand marble-clad fireplace complemented by a generous round sofa on the forward sun deck, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for relaxation and socializing. Additionally, LIVA° includes a fully certified helipad on the sky deck, catering to the owner's discerning taste and facilitating easy access to remote locations.
It is not yet known whether M/Y LIVA° will become a luxury yacht for charter. If you'd like to charter a yacht of a similar calibre, you can view and compare all Abeking superyachts for charter. Speak to a yacht charter broker today for more information about making a booking.
