It's been a busy week for Benetti, as the Italian yard launches two superyachts in two days; the 40m/132ft motor yacht 'Happy Me' and the 29m/95ft BD106
Celebrations have been held at the Benetti headquarters, as two yachts are launched in the space of two days in Viareggio.
The first was the sixth hull in Benetti's Delfino 95 series, which is known as BD106. The yacht hit the water on February 6, and delivery is expected to a Cypriot owner in the coming months.
The second was charter yacht 'Happy Me', the fourteenth installment of Benetti's Classic Supreme series. Formerly known as BS014, the charter yacht was launched on February 7.
Happy Me will now undergo final outfitting before being delivered to her German owner.
The owner was present as his new build superyacht hit the water for the first time, saying; “I’m very grateful for, and impressed, with the passion and devotion shown by Benetti throughout the construction of this yacht.”
In keeping with all the units in the Classic Supreme range, Stefano Righini is behind the exterior design of the yacht and Francois Zuretti has helmed her stylish and contemporary interiors.
Accommodation is provided for 10 guests in five cabins, which comprise an owner’s cabin on the main deck and two VIP and two double guest cabins on the lower deck. Crew accommodation is for seven in four cabins.
I’m very grateful for, and impressed, with the passion and devotion shown by Benetti throughout the construction of this yacht.
The motor yacht offers spacious exteriors with a 100 sqm sun deck and a generous upper deck, where there is a lounge area adjoined by a Jacuzzi forward.
Interior renderings suggest a refined and modern theme, with plenty of marble, Wenge wood and Oriental accents.
Happy Me will be available for Mediterranean yacht charters this summer 2020. She is expected to be available in hotspots including Croatia and the South of France.
