Closing the doors on a successful 24th edition, the Antigua Charter Yacht Show continues to celebrate excellence within the yachting industry by announcing the winners of the 2024 Concours de Chef and Tablescaping Competitions.
Running from the 4 - 9 December, the 2024 Antigua Charter Yacht Show proudly showcased a gleaming ensemble of Caribbean yacht charters, many of which made their show debuts including the captivating 344.6ft (105m) sailing yacht charter BLACK PEARL, the largest attending yacht in over a decade.
Featuring a different theme each year, the Concours de Chef and Tablescaping Competitions are key highlights of the Antigua-based event, with all attending crews invited to participate.
This year's theme focused on The Art of Charter: An Immersive Culinary and Sensory Voyage, circulating around the concept of charter theme nights.
The tablescaping element of the competition involved Antigua yacht charter crew members creating unique visions with decorations, music, and appropriate attire for an immersive experience for the curated judging panel. Whereas the chefs were challenged to cook a three-course meal using a mystery ingredient with presentation also reflecting the pre-selected theme.
With the winners decided by a panel of independent judges, the entries to the 2024 Antigua Charter Yacht Show Concours de Chef and Tablescaping Competitions were judged by:
- Chef Elizabeth Lee - East Yachts
- Tommy Baldwin - Shoreside Support
- Aaron Michaels - Culinary Convenience
- Francesca Fenucci - BWA Yachting
- Liam Steevenson - Global Wine Solutions
- Rio Alexander - The Beautiful Table LLC
