First Look: 78m Lürssen superyacht ACE 21 enters final construction phases in Lemwerder

By Anna Ingles   17 February 2025

The yachting industry has enjoyed a sneak preview of the current in-build 78-meter Lürssen superyacht ACE 21 as she made a brief move between halls at the Lürssen shipyard in Lemwerder, Germany.

Spotted in the great outdoors for the first time since making the move in 2023 from the Stahlbau Nord facility in Bremerhaven, this secretive project will now undergo final preparations before an expected delivery later this year.

While the design team behind this impressive superyacht remains undisclosed, initial images reveal a sleek, elongated profile with five decks, clean lines, and a distinctive plumb bow.

A custom build complying with requirements set by the Lloyd's Register, confirmed specifications of superyacht ACE 21 include a volume of 2,500 GT, diesel propulsion, and a construction combining steel and aluminum.

Featuring extensive sweeps of glazing, interiors onboard are certain to be abundantly lit with plenty of natural daylight, offering ample opportunities to relax in comfort while taking in the views throughout cruises around the Bahamas or the Mediterranean.

Onboard amenities for ACE 21 are yet to be disclosed, however, in comparison to those built by the same shipyard, the current fleet of Lürssen yachts for charter regularly include a spacious beach club environment with seamless access to the sea for action-packed watersports sessions, premium health and wellness facilities, and a good selection of alfresco lounge and dining options.

Continuing to impress the industry with staggering superyachts with impeccable craftsmanship and style, Lürssen enjoyed incredible success in 2024 with the successful launches of several showstoppers including 466ft (142m) superyacht DRAGONFLY and 455ft (139m) motor yacht LUMINANCE. But it was 400ft (122m) luxury yacht charter KISMET that stole the glory, winning multiple awards and breaking the record as the longest charter yacht ever to attend the Monaco Yacht Show.

It is currently unknown whether superyacht ACE 21 will join the global yacht charter fleet, however, if you're interested in experiencing a yacht of a similar caliber, contact your preferred yacht charter broker today for the latest special offers and availability, or find more inspiration by viewing all yacht rentals
