Lurssen's 87m/ 285ft motor yacht 'Project Hawaii' hit the water for the first time at the shipyard's facilities in Rendsburg today.
Lurssen's latest project emerged from the construction shed this morning, hitting the waters of the Kiel Canal for the very first time.
Construction on the 2,950 GT superyacht began in 2017, and we can expect her to begin sea trials in the coming months.

Still known only as Project Hawaii, the motor yacht features exterior and interior styling from Bannenberg & Rowell. Key features include a jacuzzi on the main deck aft that looks over a spacious swim platform below.
The yacht marks the sixth exterior collaboration between Bannenberg & Rowell and the German shipyard. She sports clean lines, with generous overhang from the superstructure and glass bulwarks around the sundeck. The yacht also has an unusual detail on the foredeck which resembles a helipad and could nod to her namesake.
It is not yet known whether the superyacht will be available for private yacht charters.
